Our Values

Fun

Children at Pipkins learn through enjoying themselves and having fun.

We like to learn from real life experience - "it is better to do once than to be told five times".

Your child will make new friends and learn social skills - through role play and make-believe.

"I can't tell you how lovely it has been to see and hear about Leanna's enjoyment of Pipkins Nursery. Every visit is brilliant in her words"
(Leanna, 4)

Learning

We follow the government curriculum set out by the Early Years Foundation State document.

The key person system ensures that no child is left behind, no child can fall through the net of learning at this crucial early stage.

From past experience, we know that children who attend our nurseries excel at school later on.

Pipkins children learn to be social, confident and believe in themselves through earning praise and being valued every single day!

"I am amazed at the opportunities that Hattie has had in her time at Pipkins. She has throughly enjoyed her time here. Thank you everyone!"
(Hattie, 4)

On a sunny day we can go outside under the trees to do our work.

 Structure

Days are structured so that consistency offers children the sense of security they need.

Our working system establishes this - but it's fun and we always manage to be flexible. We adapt the system to each child's individual needs.

Detailed operational manuals support Pipkins staff every step of the way - and that ensures the continuity of your child's experience at Pipkins.

Good behaviour boundaries are set in place so that children develop levels of respect.

"Pipkin's small size means that each child is nurtured and given individual attention. In the three years since we have known Pipkins, I have seen happy, settled and vibrant children emerge every day. Our younger daughter has one more year before school. She loves "little school" and we are delighted for her to be able to enjoy such a wonderful pre-school experience."
